There are five yes2wind Green Champions category awards:
Green Champions - Anyone over the age of 18 can be nominated on the Competition Entry page. The Judges are looking for individuals who act as an inspiration to others in the campaign against climate change.
Young Green Champion - With similar entry criteria to the Green Champion award, yes2wind is looking for individuals under the age of 18 who stand out as champions of the environment.
Community Champion - Nominate your green community project and tell us why is deserves to be recognised as the UK's best sustainable community project.
Peoples Award - A special award that will be voted on by members of the public, any project that acts as an inspiration to others to act in the interests of the planet can be nominated.
Schools Award - The children are our future so yes2wind wants to ensure that children understand as much about the unwanted effects of climate change as possible, so they can join others to help protect the planet. The Schools Award will celebrate environmental projects undertaken by schools and sixth form colleges.
The Judges will select winners from a selected shortlist in each category. The final winner will be announced at a high profile award ceremony in late 2010.
